S.H.Figuarts – Roronoa Zoro (The King of Hell Ver.)
First, let's talk about Zoro himself. I've seen some people mention that his build isn't muscular enough, but honestly, S.H.Figuarts has always taken some creative liberties with character proportions to make the figures easier to produce and pose. At this point, I'm pretty used to it, so as long as the proportions aren't too far off, it doesn't bother me too much.
What really impressed me this time is the overall craftsmanship. The sculpt and paintwork look great, and the design captures Zoro's King of Hell appearance really well. The material used for the lower robe is softer than on previous versions, making it much easier to raise his legs and create dynamic poses. The sword sheath attachment has also been improved, giving it a more practical design and making it less of a hassle when posing the figure.
But the real highlight has to be the swords. This time, the blades feature a metallic finish that looks absolutely gorgeous in person. They catch the light beautifully and add a premium feel to the entire figure.
Overall, this S.H.Figuarts Roronoa Zoro The King of Hell is much more enjoyable to handle than some of the previous releases. The improved flexibility, better-designed accessories, and excellent sculpt make it a great figure for both display and photography. Despite the slightly less muscular proportions, I think S.H.Figuarts did a really nice job with this version of Zoro. Definitely a solid release!
