S.H.Figuarts - Vegeta Older Style Battle Clothes
This is an S.H.Figuarts figure I was really looking forward to, and after unboxing, I found the quality to be quite impressive. The facial paintwork, in particular, is well done. Some parts of the main body have a matte finish, while the battle armor features a glossy deep blue, creating a nice sense of layering.
However, just like in the official product photos, the shoulders stick out a bit too much, making the upper body look quite broad. Also, while Vegeta's facial expressions are still excellent this time, I specifically got a Frieza 2.0 just for the "curly tail" to pair with Vegeta. But when placing them together, I strongly felt that this Vegeta is missing a "closed-eyes, pained, blood-spitting face." If it had that, it would score even higher.
Overall, it's still a high-quality figure, and I personally love it!
