S.H.Figuarts Mecha Frieza Figure

S.H.Figuarts Mecha Frieza Figure

Mecha Frieza itself doesn't have much presence in the manga, the biggest selling point of this S.H.Figuarts Mecha Frieza is that it includes a "cut in half" main body. Before the release, I was wondering how they would introduce this sliced appearance, but it turns out they simply included an extra main body.

As for the design, personally, I think this Mecha Frieza can be considered a masterpiece. The overall three-dimensional sense and layers of the design are outstanding. The facial expressions are also very vividly recreated, and the mechanical details really enrich the visual effect. The only downside is that when changing the head, you also have to change the mechanical parts on the head, which isn't perfect.

Another issue is the proportion. This mechanical Frieza, like the "first form," is also a relatively "modern" SHF Dragon Ball products and suffers from the "big head" problem in design.

However, it's worth mentioning that the metallic silver on the lower half of the mechanical body is very bright and outstanding. Personally, I think it would look even better if the Meta Cooler also used this silver instead of an electric color.

Overall, in terms of presence alone, I would say Frieza's "second form" is the most expressive, but this mechanical Frieza is of high quality in all aspects. Recommended!
