Mirko, ranked No. 5 in the hero rankings, has the quirk "Rabbit," which enhances her leg strength and jumping ability. With a competitive and straightforward personality, she is a highly popular female character, embodying many of the creator’s personal tastes.
From the previous "Ochaco" figure, it's clear that Kaiyodo has been getting better at sculpting female characters' faces. Although I only got the "standard version" of Mirko this time, all six faceplates are high-quality—whether you want her to look stunning or fierce, they’ve nailed the expressions.
As for the main body, Mirko’s sexy hero costume, tanned skin tone, and powerful physique are all well-reproduced. The thigh-high boots have a glossy blue finish that looks great under lighting. However, I feel that both Mirko and Ochaco were made too short. In the anime, Ochaco should only be about half a head shorter than Deku, but here, she’s a full head shorter. When posing female characters next to male ones in this line, there’s a noticeable sense of imbalance.
Regarding accessories, Mirko comes with just "hand parts" and an "alternate front hairpiece." Compared to the early days of Amazing Yamaguchi, today's Kaiyodo is a different story altogether—at least they’re no longer locking essential accessories behind exclusive editions, which is a relief.
In terms of articulation, the joints are a bit tight, so be careful when moving them. The range of motion is generally fine, but my only gripe is that for a character known for high mobility, they didn’t include a butterfly joint in the shoulders. Her arms get blocked by her chest when trying to fold inward (laughs).
Overall, this figure turned out even better than I expected. While it doesn’t include "battle-damaged" parts, I really hope Kaiyodo releases a standalone "battle-damaged version" of Mirko in her final battle outfit in the future!
